How it started
BUILT FOR THE TEAMS ON THEIR WAY UP.
We started with small clubs and local programs. Teams on their way up. Programs building something real, season by season.
We gave them uniforms that made them look like they belonged. Many are still with us, season after season. The work is the same in 2026 as it was in 2006.
What we believe
WHAT TWENTY YEARS TAUGHT US.
The reveal is the product.
The moment a team tears open the box and loses it, that is what we are really making. Everything we do serves that moment.
Quality is the default, not an upsell.
One high-end material, built to our own spec. You do not have to be an expert to get the good stuff.
Relationships are the asset.
Programs reorder with us season after season. Twenty years of that, and we never take a long account for granted.
Reliable beats flashy.
On time, fits right, never embarrasses you in front of the parents. That is the whole job.
The record
TWENTY SEASONS. EVERY RECEIPT.
IT STARTED IN A KITCHEN.
Allen Sportswear began in 2004 as a one-woman shop run from a family kitchen. Custom team uniforms, made to order, one program at a time. The same hands-on standard still runs the shop today.
“We started the same place a lot of our teams do. Small, all in, and building something real.”
INCORPORATED IN FLORIDA.
Two years in, the kitchen operation became an official Florida company. Family-owned, and built to give every program the uniform their season deserves.
“Great teams are built season by season. We have been there from the beginning.”

A JERSEY IN THE HALL OF FAME.
One of our custom basketball jerseys made it to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. A credential earned by the team wearing it, with a uniform built by us.
That same year, Allen uniforms appeared in Converse’s Dwyane Wade “All In” national ad campaign, placing our work in front of millions of young basketball players across the country.
ESPN MAGAZINE. WE DRESSED THE AD.
November 2009: a Converse and ESPN Magazine national ad featured youth basketball players in Allen Sportswear uniforms. That same year, the UCF Intramural Flag Football Club won the national championship in our uniforms, and a girls softball program in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands called our work “at par with those of the pros.” Year three. We were reaching places we had never planned to reach.

U.S. NAVY FOOTBALL. ITALY.
A U.S. Navy football team played in Italy wearing Allen Sportswear uniforms, November 2010. When a coach trusts us with that assignment, we do not take it lightly.

ESPN RISE COVER. THE UNIFORM WAS OURS.
Taryn Griffey, daughter of Baseball Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr., appeared on the cover of ESPN RISE magazine Summer 2011 wearing an Allen Sportswear Panthers uniform. We have kept every receipt. That is one of them.
Cover. A team we dressed, in uniforms we built.

ALL-STAR TEAMS. DRESS THE CHAMPIONS.
By 2012 we were outfitting All-Star baseball programs and had launched Dress the Champions, our program to back the teams still building toward their next level. Hundreds of clubs across the years.
Sean Ruff, HS Athletic Director: “Discovered them back in 2012 … they were the only manufacturer able to turn around order in 3 weeks from inquiry.”
HOLLYWOOD CALLED. WE SUITED THEM UP.
In 2014, Eleague Productions, formerly the NBA Entertainment League, ordered their uniforms from Allen Sportswear. A Hollywood celebrity basketball league, whose past and present participants included Justin Timberlake, Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, Adam Sandler, Jamie Foxx, and close to 200 names in film, TV, and music. They upgraded their look. We built it.

NATIONAL COURTS. DEW NBA 3X.
Through the mid-2010s, Allen Sportswear uniforms were on the floor at national basketball tournaments across the country, from Arizona to Florida.
Allen became the official uniform supplier for the Dew NBA 3X program, the Mountain Dew and NBA co-branded 3-on-3 circuit. From design mockup to the court, every uniform built in our shop.

WHEN THE GAMES STOPPED, WE KEPT WORKING.
Every season cancelled. We applied our sublimation manufacturing to build the Allen 3PLY Essentials Mask: hydrophobic outer layer, hot air cotton filter, moisture-wicking inner. Custom logos, proper specs, delivered to VA hospitals, district attorney offices, medical universities, and corporate clients navigating the shortage.
The same shop that builds your team’s uniforms built the masks for the people who kept the country running. When the games came back, our customers came back with them.
“A manufacturing shop serves the community it is built in. We did not need a pandemic to tell us that.”

THE BIG SCREEN. CHAMPIONS.
In 2023, the feature film Champions, starring Woody Harrelson, took the court in Allen Sportswear uniforms. Twenty years in, our work still turns up in places we never set out to reach.
STILL FAMILY-OWNED. STILL IN THE SHOP.
The team has grown. The process is faster. The craftsmanship is the same. Programs that ordered in 2012 are still ordering. ADs who found us in a crunch come back every season.
Michael Stamper, youth basketball coach: “I’ve been using Allen Sportswear for about 8 years now … opposing team’s parents stop to photograph our uniforms.”
7,000+ TEAMS. ALL 50 STATES.
Still family-owned. Still making every piece ourselves.
The hands that build it
Precision cutting
Name and number finishing
EVERY ORDER HAS A REAL PERSON BEHIND IT.
Not a factory handoff. Not a print-on-demand drop-ship. Sublimation, tackle twill, cut-and-sew, and hand-finishing all happen in one shop. One person owns your order from first design to final delivery.
COACHES KEEP COMING BACK. EVERY SEASON.
Multi-year loyalty from rec leagues to high school ADs. A rep who works your design until it is right. 3-4 week typical turnaround.
Still here
WE STILL WORK WITH THE TEAMS BUILDING SOMETHING.
For the coach who does not have time for surprises. For the program that wants uniforms sharp enough to own the room when they walk in. Work with the team that has been doing this since 2004.
