Story:
Wekiva High School men?s basketball lives by the motto ?play hard, play smart, play together.? The ability of the players to buy into this philosophy has translated into success within a short amount of time.  Although the school has only been around for four (4) years, the team has been ranked among the top 15 teams in Central Florida the past two seasons.  The lessons learned on the court have continually translated into the community.  The players donate countless hours of their time each year to serving their community whether the event is holding a basketball camp for local youth, working the Special Olympics or visiting elementary schools to spread drug prevention awareness.  Dress the Champions brought the parents and community members together and gave them an opportunity to show their appreciation for the team?s hard work. The community that these young men have been so eager to help was more than willing to show support when it was most needed.
